I had the pleasure of meeting Frank during one of my appearances on the Dr Laurie Betito show airing on CJAD back in 2012 to promote CookandDate. Cookanddate Is my baby, which began in 2008 when I decided that there was a need for a new cool way to meet fun likeminded singles. WE hold culinary activities ie cooking classes, cocktail classes, wine tasting events…anything foodie; for guests to meet potential partners or friends in a comfortable environment. 7 yrs later we are active in 3 major Canadian cities (Montréal, Toronto & Ottawa), and are to soon open in Vancouver. We have also dabbled and held a few events in the USA. Our new services include personalized matchmaking, image consulting and closet/image makeovers. My clients come from all walks of life and different backgrounds… from young single moms 25 yrs old to single never married 60 yr olds. People that dated most of their lives to newly divorced or widowed “virgin daters”… our activities are separated by age categories and themes…we sometime post and event that targets a specific community but we encourage people to come out and get social…that is truly the only way you will know who might be the best match for you!
The topic that evening on radio was Dating Dilemmas: On Again Off Again Relationship.
I have to say that it was love at the first question with Frank
Frank’s views were amazing on a variety of topics that night brought up by listeners. One that stays in my mind was of woman having a hard time meeting new men because she was still great friends with her ex boyfriend. Frank easily explained how and why this can be a HUGE red flag to any potential suitor. The young lady actually admitted that she never even thought about the situation in that way. Basically what he did was give advice in easy English without any mumbo jumbo or uncommon terms and was direct without humiliating or shaming…a true coach, and a wonderful human!

We kept in touch via Facebook for the next few years until we met again summer 2014 where we both sat on a panel for the Great Love Debate Montreal. Once again Frank shined!!! I was extremely pleased that I was able to experience this debate and have Frank next to me as his words of wisdom were far greater that any specialist that evening. Have you ever worried about what you are going to say when you are on a first date? I personally had this fear, but investing in Frank’s eBook ‘101 Great First Dates- What To Say’ really help me alleviate that stress.
Of all the Frank products I have read and listened to, this one was extra helpful l to address any potential awkward silent moments you may encounter on a date
On a recent date, I used Frank’s question: "What would you do if you won 5 million dollars?" we then spent a good majority of the evening talking about that alone!
That one question allowed me to learn so many things about the woman that I am dating that is beyond the way that she looks. I became much more attracted to her at the end of the date because of the conversation we had.
That one question really got her to think about her life, and what it would be like to live that lifestyle. It then naturally opened up an array of different conversation topics.

If you don't know what to talk about with a girl on your first date... then this is a good book for you.
Frank provides 101+ topics to keep that awkward silence to a minimum, and also questions that you can use to find out more about your date. In fact, I've adapted one of them as the first thing I say to a new girl from internet dating.

I really enjoyed this book. It gives you more than 101 things to talk about. Some of them are mentioned in the coaching workbook for men: I’m a Man That’s My Job. While talking about different topics, you are addressing her emotional needs and figure out what role she will be playing in your life, and more importantly, you are having FUN!
On a date, you will not talk about all 101 topics, maybe let's say 20 different topics, but you will never be stuck with “what do I talk about?” question that really bugged me. Awesome!

I have just read the whole book... now I am going back through it and taking detailed notes and actually figuring out some material to use for myself. So far it seems like a great start for me.
I feel like I will definitely return to this book many more times throughout my development when needed. I remember Frank saying in I'm a Man, That's My Job that developing one's own calibrated story-telling is ESSENTIAL to moving forward in one's personal development, so creating some material that I can use consistently is definitely something I have an interest in. Should be cool to see what happens.
