After a while in a happy relationship, it’s easy to start thinking about the future. However, marriage is such a big commitment that you need to ensure you are both ready. It can put huge pressure on your relationship, and your marriage will crumble if you aren’t both wanting the same things. Here are some signs that your relationship is ready for the next step, and it's time to pop the question.

One of the first major steps you and your partner would have likely made in your relationship is moving in together. After all, more couples than ever are living together first before tying the knot. It helps couples to find out more about each other and how they act under difficult circumstances. Research has found that couples are less likely to divorce if they live together for a period before getting hitched. Therefore, if you have lived together for a while and are still happy together, it could be time to get married.

Your relationship will never survive marriage if you don’t have similar future plans. If one of you wants to go traveling, while the other wants to settle down and have a family, it’s never going to work between you. Therefore, before going to buy a ring, you need to talk to her about the future. Discuss your five-year plan to see if you are both on the same page. That way, you can ensure you're both ready for the future before tying the knot.
You both are financially ready
It’s important that the two of you have enough money if you are going to get married. After all, weddings are an expensive time which can put a lot of pressure on your relationship. If you don’t have enough money, you are unlikely to have a day that you both will love. Also, a wedding can stop you from saving for other things like your own home or a big holiday which you both really want to do. Therefore, you need to both be prepared for this. On top of this, you need to have enough money to buy her a beautiful ring such as gemstone engagement rings. After all, as this feature reveals, you should spend three months of your salary on a ring! Therefore, make sure you are financially ready before planning to get hitched!

No relationship is perfect. You are bound to have a row every so often as the odd argument is part of a healthy relationship. But if you are genuinely happy together and love being around each other, then it could be a sign you should get hitched. Also, you should ensure you want to spend the rest of your life with her. If you can’t imagine not being with another girl, then you are not in the right headspace to get married.

Wedding Vows are to be taken seriously
by Frank Kermit
Updated on March 2, 2018
The Bad Times is when your commitment to marriage
matters the most.
Anyone can keep themselves
in check to keep a promise
when things are great.
You make the decision to be married
with someone
to remind you of why you made that decision
when times are bad.
And over the course
of a long term relationship
things WILL get bad.
Even the best relationships
have periods where things are less than ideal
and those periods
could last from days to weeks, months, and even years.
Then again,
what are 4-5 rough years
compared to what a 40 year relationship is suppose to mean?
In Good Times, and in Bad,
In Sickness and in Health
is not just a saying...it is a warning....
It is letting you know what you are signing up for.
Can you handle the expectations of marriage
that you and your partner agree too
when things go bad?
If you aren't sure,
then you have some homework to do.

Seek a life partner that has a compatible life plan to yours
Planning the rest of your life together
by Frank Kermit
When I sit down with a couple for Pre Marital Coaching,
which is working with a couple who are getting ready
to move to the next step in their relationship,
one of the questions I always ask them is
what do they have planned for the rest of their lives together?
Whether you are
moving in together
buying property together
having a child together
getting married
getting engaged
one of the key elements towards success
is having a life plan
and then checking to make sure
that your individual life plans
are actually compatible.
I have seen couples, who were very much in love
but had very incompatible life plans.
Where one person wanted 2 children in the next 5 years
and the other did not want children at all.
Where one person wanted to eventually move to Japan
and the other person wanted to move to Brazil
Where one person wanted to retire together to Florida
and the other person refused ever stop working
Where one person needed to spend the next 4 years
traveling to a different continent for a unique and specific
graduate education in a niche industry
and the other person was running out of time
to start a family
So, if you want to have a successful marriage
that will last long term
and withstand the status of separation and divorce
get your life plan in order.
Know what you need to know for your life plan
and find a partner that has a life plan that is compatible with yours.

During my couples coaching sessions,
one of the topics of discussion that tends to come up
is the wedding list of guests.
One of the questions I ask is:
Have either one of you had an intimate relationship with any guests,
that your partner (the one who is marrying you)
does not know about?
I think the majority of couples would be surprised by just
how often it turns out that some of the wedding guests
turn out to be secret past lovers of either member of the couple
getting married, that the other partner did not know.
What turns out to be worse, is when that secret lover,
actually made it to the actual wedding party
(either a bridesmaid, or an usher/groomsman)
Sometimes, having someone who has a sexual past
with a wedding partner attend your wedding as a guest
can be taken as an insult to the other wedding partner.
Usually, the invitation of a past lover
to a wedding can be handled,
but it is the secretive nature of the information
that causes the bigger issue.
The other partner starts to wonder
what other information has not been volunteered
that will continued to be "hidden" until the correct
direction question is asked.
That is no way to start a wedding guest list.
As a general rule, ex-lovers and weddings do not mix.
And in the event one of your secret ex-lovers
has been invited to your wedding
make sure you TELL YOUR PARTNER
The worst thing that can happen,
is that the information is reveal
at the wedding, when everyone is celebrating
and secrets come out unintentionally.
It is a time people become emotionally,
and sometimes intoxicated,
which always spells trouble for secret-keeping.
I have seen this happen from direct experience
and those of my client base.
Plan for your wedding to be spectacular, not a spectacle.

Remembering the Dead at a Wedding
by Frank Kermit
Sometimes, couples who marry want to do something
at the wedding in memory of the people who passed away.
This happens, especially when the death was recent.
At my wedding, my wife and I did a little ceremony at the reception
where we lit a candle and read an inscription, announcing it was
in memory of various relatives that had died, who would have
wanted to attend. It was very short, but it did bring us come
comfort, and it was also comforting to some of the attendees
who were still in mourning.
We all cope with loss differently.
It is important for the wedding couple to also remember,
that not everyone will appreciate your efforts
to pay tribute to your lost loved ones.
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make,
is they try to tell someone else that how they grieve is wrong.
For example, this story is of a wedding I attended:
A father dies a few months before his son is set to be married.
At the wedding, a special tribute is made in honor of the late father.
The groom and his mom dance to a song that was in memory of his dad.
All the guests were invited on the dance floor to circle them.
Then it happened...
at one point, the groom and his mom started to cry a little.
It was not a hysterical cry at all, but the tears were evident.
Everyone around them formed into a circle continued to move to the music.
...except one man.
He started to raise his voice to tell the DJ to stop the music.
He was an uncle in the family, and felt that the song and tribute
was making them cry and that it was wrong.
So he made a fool of himself trying to stop the tribute.
Luckily, the DJ and the rest of the guests ignored him.
The uncle was not comfortable with seeing, or dealing with, grief.
He tried to "protect" everyone else from grief as well.
That was the worst thing he could have done, and lucky for
everyone at the wedding, the DJ was smart enough not to listen to him.
Make sure that you let the DJ, or other wedding professionals involved know about any potential trouble-makers, and let the wedding professionals also know exactly what your wishes are
in case a wedding guest decides to act out.
If you can predict who might be the kind of person to act out,
at your wedding,
it might be a good idea to let that person know ahead of time
what you are planning.
This is not about getting that person's permission.
It is more about letting that person know,
so the shock of surprise
in combination of the grief and mourning
does not motivate that person
into doing something
that will turn your wedding
from spectacular
to a spectacle.

Learn To Dance For a Wedding
Look Stunning and Surprise Your Guests
by Patty Contenta (Guest Blogger)
It wasn’t so long ago that a couple’s first dance,
as special as it was, was only an effervescent memory
– a fact that was no small blessing for couples
who didn’t know how to dance.
Now with the advent of recording technologies,
a newlywed couple’s first dance is almost always
recorded for viewing through the years.
Here are some points you’ll need to know
to make your wedding dance the best memory ever!
Don’t wait until the last minute:
Remember that your schedule will get very hectic
as your wedding day approaches.
Dance instructors recommend starting six to eight months earlier
to allow more time for practice,
especially if you are a newcomer to dancing.
All dances are popular at weddings:
Besides the Waltz and other traditional dances,
the Mambo, Salsa, Swing and even the Hustle
are all popular at weddings today.
Do you wish to use a special song for your first dance?
If you plan to dance to a special song at your reception,
feel free to bring a recording of it to your dance lessons
so you can work on it with your teacher.
Don’t forget to coordinate with your wedding videographer
to get the best “coverage” of your special dance.
Remember that dance lessons
can actually be a stress reliever:
Dancing is good exercise.
And, dance lessons pull you out of the hustle and bustle of the day
allowing you to spend time with your intended,
having fun and working together productively at the same time.
Learning a new skill that you can use together for a lifetime.
Learning to dance for your wedding is a special gift
that you and your fiance can give to each other.
Feeling confident and poised when you dance together
will ensure that your first dance together
as a married couple will be a memory you will cherish forever.
Hope to see you at a dance studio.
They have a team of great teachers
that will ensure you have a fun and easy experience!
In Joy and Enjoy!

50 Shades of Frank Kermit, Couples Coaching and Intro to BDSM
A nationally broadcast television program on Slice TV.
Episode# 3034 Lisa and Mark started off really great in their relationship, but a few personality quirks and some personal crisis have had their toll on their relationship. Newlywed, Nearly Dead? invites Frank Kermit a Relationship Expert and his teachings of Emotional Needs to give a little guidance to their love life. Frank Kermit joins Lisa and Mark for some private Couples Coaching.
Reviews of the Couple Mark and Lisa
MARK IS A MAN AGAIN. Mark has definitely stepped up a lot, and turned into the man he once was. Everything has definitely shifted, and it has become more of an adult relationship. The challenge was for Mark to learn to step up and be a man and learn to seduce me mentally again, which he has somehow lost down the lines of our relationship. It was very beneficial because Frank actually knew what I wanted before he met me and he was right on with what he needed from Mark.
When we did the exercise I could really feel that that is what I need from Mark. I need him to be more of a man in control of himself. And he showed that. Throughout the exercise Frank was coaching Mark from a different area with a microphone in his ear. Just telling him things a woman would like. Mark was responding. Sort of doing a little bit of his own, but listening to instruction from Frank and it was very good. It was very beneficial. I was enjoying it. I was not uncomfortable at all because I knew that Frank was not going to make us go past any of our boundaries. I was quite comfortable with the scenario. It was very beneficial. It was exactly what I needed. It was more the kind of relationship I want to have in the bedroom with Mark. We used to have that kind of relationship, but somewhere down the road it stopped. I needed that boost in him. I needed that confidence in him, and know that he can not talk like a boy in the bedroom and he has to be like a man or else it turns me off. So it completely helped us because he has not acted like a boy at all, even in the bedroom, and I have been more turned on than anytime! I loved what happened in the bedroom! I loved what he was doing to me! I absolutely felt safe.
I felt like he was going to do nothing bad to me...only what I wanted him to do. I definitely felt like he was a man. He was not a boy in there with me. He was a man, and thats what I wanted. It did not feel like authentic Mark, but the whole challenge was that Frank told us we have to develop our own technique and Mark has to be the kind of man he is going to be. Those were just ways he would seduce a woman. Mark has to come up with his own identity in the bedroom. It does not have to be exactly what Frank did. But Frank was teaching us how to tap into that again. I definitely feel it changed Mark. I know that he said it was very beneficial to him. I think that it got him out of the rut because it made him feel like he is a man again. He does not have to act like a little boy. And I think that is what he is been wanting but he just did not know how to go about and do it. As much as I tell him, it was not the way he needed to be told. He was not hearing what I was saying. He needed someone else to come along and tell him how to tap into my emotions rather than the things he used to do.
Frank sort of taught me that if Mark is going sort of in the right direction of what I am looking for, then to not be critical of it. There are ways to actually show him what I want, or what I am not responding to rather than just come out and say it. I was not aware that that is what I was doing before. It did help me as much as it helped Mark. My favorite part of it was actually that I do not have to be in control anymore. I can actually allow Mark to have control in the bedroom. My favorite thing about the challenge was just letting go and letting Mark actually be the man that I have always wanted him to be. I know it is in there. It has been in there before, we have just lost that in the last little while. It was nice to know that he is learning how to tap into my emotions and I do not have to work. I can just let go and be free.
I think the biggest thing before was that I was always turned off because he was a little boy. Frank actually taught him how to remain a man throughout the entire evening. So, it has been great. And No it was not hard for me at all. It is what I have been wanting. After Frank left it got hot and steamy. It was wonderful! I am definitely going to continue being a woman and not being his mother.
Review by Mark
I think the purpose of Frank Kermit's session was to just bring me back when we first met. He just lead me through and gave me some good pointers, and he really opened my eyes to what I was doing wrong, and how I was making her feel. Hey, it was great. It was amazing. In the beginning it was weird. Lisa and myself were in the bedroom. Just trying to bond in a sexual manner. I had an earpiece, and he was speaking to me from another room. And just basically going through some techniques that would work and some seduction techniques. In the beginning it was a little weird. It worked out great. And she really got into it and its made a difference already. I think it brought me back to the beginning in our relationship, and that's how our sex life was like. In the end we were both having fun. And I think that was the point. She was responding pretty well to the whole situation. I think that was what she needed. She was right into that.
We have kind of lost touch with the whole, the way we used to be. I would say our sex life is back on track this week. We already had a couple times in the bedroom and it was pretty good. I would say we are on the right track anyway. Yah. I have taken a little of Frank lessons and applied it to my sex life. Its made a difference. I would say the seducer challenge was my favorite. I enjoyed it the most. I enjoyed it the most because it brought me back to where I was in the beginning. Somewhere down the line I missed. I just became a totally different person for our sex life and now it is enjoyable again. And now it is enjoyable again; experimenting and having fun in the bedroom, and exactly what we want. I did not ever think it was going to...our sex life would improve so quickly. Its definitely done a 180%.
For sure. Talking to Frank and listening to him. He just amazing. Dead on every aspect. He really knows what he is talking about. And I believe him 100%. He is definitely a master at seduction. I trust him 100%. I definitely got my Mojo back!...Thanks to Frank.

When trying to decide if you should be committed to someone, moving in with someone, getting engaged, and getting married, each new transition brings about the unpleasant task of asking the hard questions.
Romance is a wonderful thing; the passion, the anticipation, the fantasy, the hope, the sex, the titillating drama of starting something new can all encompass you like a drug, and takes you on an emotional journey of escapism. There is nothing quite like the roller coaster of dismal low points, and peak climaxes.
However, once that is out of the way, the real relationship begins, and so too the asking of the hard questions. This is especially true if you are getting married. Getting married is more than just planning a wedding day. You are choosing a person to build a future with which likely includes major financial investments (home/vehicle), sharing resources, supporting any particular lifestyle, and possibly children. Sounds unromantic? You bet it is. Asking the hard questions is about making sure that you know what you are getting yourself into and that if there is any reason you would not marry someone for, that you ask the hard question directly.
Each of us has our particular limits as to what we can be open minded about. Each of us draws that line differently. In my practice I have met individuals and couples that draw the line in a variety of places of what they would and would not accept. What one person simply deems completely unacceptable is nothing more than a minor footnote in the criteria of another person.
The key is to find a life partner that loves the good that you bring to the relationship, and can accept the bad that comes with the baggage as well. Once you have that, you have a good opportunity to build the kind of relationship foundation necessary to manage the storms of life that ransack long term relationship success. That is why it is important to ask the hard questions before going through with any promoting of your relationship to the next level.
Here are some examples of hard questions to ask someone that you are about to marry:
Have you ever been legally charged with something?
Have you ever been convicted, and or do you have a record?
What is your credit rating and what is your financial history?
What is your sexual history?
Have you had sex with anyone that is going to be invited to the wedding?
Did you have sex with someone that would make me not marry you (like a family member of mine)?
Is your family in support of your change in relationship status with me?
What is your history regarding metal health?
Have you ever contemplated or attempted suicide?
Have you ever done anything in your past that might come to haunt us (or our children)?
What dark secrets of your past could one of your ex-lovers and ex friends share about you?
Did you ever have a child that was given up for adoption that could try to locate you someday?
Is there anyone that may want to seek revenge on you and your family that I need to know about?
For some people, the "wrong" answers to any of those questions are enough to call off the wedding. For others, there is no wrong answer to any of those questions, and it is just a matter of knowing the full story. Just keep in mind that whatever questions you choose to ask your fiancé, is likely also going to be a questions your fiancé will ask you. It swings both ways.
I often get asked what if a person lies to you when you ask these questions. The truth is, just asking the hard questions will not guarantee that you will get the truth.
A liar is a liar is a liar. However, TIME always works against a perpetual liar as the repeating behavior pattern makes it near impossible to keep a web of lies intact, as more lies are spun to re-enforce the previous lies. The sign you are with a perpetual liar is that they lie about too many things, and start getting caught on little things, that eventually affect their credibility on the big things. I have found this comes up in my practice when one of the couple happens to be an addict, and the other partner finds out because of the number of inconsistencies that arise when the addicted partner tries to cover up the drug use.
If you are too afraid to ask certain questions, or feel the need to refuse to answer certain questions, a last resort that you may be able to use is the "Ultimate List Exercise".
This exercise involves each person in the couple to write out a list of Ultimate Personal Deal-breakers.
Also known as the "I would not marry you if..." list, a partner lists every conceivable realistic reason that he or she would not marry their partner. Then the partners switch lists. If you read something on your partner's list that applies to you, you have the opportunity to call off the wedding and break the engagement, without having to reveal which deal breaker you violated. In this manner, you both have the chance to do the right thing, while at the same time, maintain whatever privacy is necessary.
Now, if for whatever reason, you find yourself unable, or unwilling to ask the hard questions or make the lists because you are afraid of losing the relationship, that is a sign you may be in the wrong relationship to begin with. If you are afraid of the answers you might get from the partner you are asking, or you are afraid of the answer you would have to give your partner when he or she asks you the same question, that is a sign that it is not time to get more serious with that person.

The Frank Law of Attraction
Originally published July 18, 2016, updated April 20, 2018
By Frank Kermit
The Frank Law of Attraction is based on one single premise:
What you do to get the person
must be the same thing as what
you do to keep the person.
Most attraction tactics focus on getting someone to like you, however they do not focus on keeping that person around.
That is the paradox of most pick up strategies as those routines focus on getting someone immediately turned on; but has no substance to keep any serious long term relationship alive.
Here are some of the talks that come up with men and women in my coaching sessions when perpetually single people come in and want to figure out why they cannot find someone that wants to commit to him or her long term, despite the fact they have less trouble finding short term volunteers.
If you do not want her to leave when the money runs out, then do not use money as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when your breasts start to sag, then do not use your breasts as your primary means of attracting him.
If you do not want her to leave when the adventure of traveling must be replaced by settling down to manage your responsibilities, then do not use adventures of traveling as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when the sex ends, then do not use sex as your primary means of attracting him.
If you do not want her to leave when your buff body suffers life altering health problems, then do not use your buff body as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when the lies get found out, then do not use lies as your primary means of attracting him.
If you do not want her to leave when she discovers you have no intention of being monogamous, then do not use the promise of monogamy as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when youthful beauty fades, then do not use your youthful beauty as your primary means of attracting him.
If you do not want her to leave when you can no longer afford lavish gifts, then do not use lavish gifts as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when you stop supporting his drug habit, then do not use enabling his habit as your primary means of attracting him.
If you do not want her to leave when you demand that she stop flirting with every man she knows, then do not use admiration of her flirtatious nature as your primary means of attracting her.
If you do not want him to leave when you admit that you do not want to have kids, then do not use the promise of a family as your primary means of attracting him.
Whatever you plan to use to keep the person with you long term, needs to be the very elements that you must use to attract the person.
These include your common values, your similar life plans and goals, and your personality and ability to connect.
Frank Kermit
Don't you hate how what you do to attract someone tends to be different than the skills to keep them?
NOT WITH THIS SYSTEM!
In Frank's Emotional Needs, what you do to attract someone is THE SAME THING you do to KEEP THEM!
Imagine, how easy it is to learn ONE SYSTEM that does it all!
