After reading Everything Your Dad Should Have Taught You About How To Getting Girls by Roy Rhodes. I can sum up my feelings in one sentence. It is one of the finest books on the subject I have seen. Roy has taken a subject that is extremely controversial and has broken it down into a way that is ethical and would be comfortable for a man who is not a PUA wannabe to put into action. There are no cruel negs or mean mind games presented that would do more harm to the woman than good. There are however great ethical social techniques that are easy for beginners to use and things that experienced men would still be able to learn from.
One of the strong points is how easily understandable the presentation of the points are. For example his basic seduction formula is broken down into three points, which are very easily memorized. I also liked the examples which helped me digest the material by making it more applicable to the real world. Another strength I noticed is the brevity of the material. He covered a lot of material in 70 short pages.
If you are like me and would be rather be doing than reading this is the book for you. The only thing that I would like to see is a companion piece that would help the beginner apply the material. A workbook that would have exercises on ways to come up with what they could use for openers, stories etc and challenges to get the newbies out on the streets with.
All in all I loved the book and think it's an excellent way for beginners to build their approaching skills and for experts to review and build on the skills that they already have. It would be an excellent combination with the Frank Kermit emotional needs books. Nicely done Mr. Rhodes.
