Title: Acedemic Interview
Dr. Serena Petrella, Assistant Professor in Sociology at Brandon
University (http://www.brandonu.ca/sociology/faculty/petrella/) interviewed
Frank Kermit for a project titled "Beyond the Pair: the Changing Meaning of
Intimate Relationships in the Context of Non-monogamy". The aims of this study
are to investigate changing relational and erotic norms in the Canadian context.
It is funded by Brandon University, by an internal grant called "BURC" - this
funding is awarded through an internal competition and amounts to a total
of Can $4,000. Academics at BU must compete to secure this grant. In this
project Dr.Petrella is investigating how relationships and erotic norms are evolving
in the Canada. Dr. Petrella wishes to compare heterosexual/homosexual/bi/queer/pan "open"
relationships, to establish whether gay/lesbian/queer relational values and
practices are converging to heterosexual ones and vice versa and would like
to establish whether the "erotic pioneers" in Canadian Queer communities have
galvanized a process of "relational reform" that is expanding the parameters
of what is emotionally and erotically possible, for themselves and for heterosexual
couples as well. Frank Kermit's contributions helped Dr. Petrella "map out" if and in what ways
relationships are changing.

published his own seduction philosophy book, entitled On Seductive Formula
and dedicated to Frank B Kermit (see dedication on page 4).
Book Description: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a "natural"
and to be "good" with women? Sure, we all have. But what many men fail to
realize is that there is more to attraction than what meets the eye. In fact
it is a learnable skill that any man can attain with some effort and the right
attitude. The best part is, once you learn what it takes to create an attractive
vibe with women, you'll become more successful that 90% of the other average
and frustrated guys out there. I'm living proof! In my work, on seductive
formula, I'll take you through the essential formulas for meeting and attracting
women. These are the quintessential elements every man should learn. After
all, it's your responsibility as a man to do so. Think of it as a right of
passage.
